日にオンラインで開催した東北女子大学家政学部公開研究会「『個』の尊重と学校教育 5～弁護士の視点から見る子どもの権利と学校～」の記録である。弁護士の視点から提示された学校内で生じる様々な問題の現状と課題について、研究会において議論された関連問題を含めて整理し、社会における子どもの権利保障のために、何が必要で何をしていくべきかの提言を行った。 \n その結果、体罰やいじめは法律的に見ればいずれも犯罪を構成する可能性が高いことを意識する必要があること、いじめについてはいじめ防止対策推進法にのっとった対応が学校に求められるところ、そこについても法的なアドバイスが求められること、校則については現代の価値観に照らして再考されるべきものもあること、主権者教育や法教育についても課題はありつつも推進していくことが重要であること、スクールロイヤーについてはまだ先進事例が散見される程度であり、どのような活用が最適なのかを今後検討していく必要があることが提言された。
